Fees & Rebates

Appointments can be made by telephone. We endeavor to give you an early appointment as we realize that this is important to you. To help us follow through with this policy we ask your co-operation to give us 24 to 48-hours notice. if you will not be attending your appointment. We will endeavor to give you a reminder call or send you a reminder text a few days before your scheduled appointment but this is not always possible.

Fees

Fees vary depending on the services provided, but are consistent with those recommended by the Australian Psychological Society. You can discuss the fee scale when you are making your appointment. Payment on the day of consultation is required and can be paid by eftpos, cash or cheque.

Rebates

Medicare

Rebates for some psychological services through Medicare are available if you meet the mental health criteria as determined by your doctor. For clients a total of 10 sessions per calendar year can be accessed with a significant Medicare rebate.

Private Health

Rebates are also provided by some health funds. Check your eligibility. We will issue you with a receipt to take to your health fund for claiming purposes.

WorkCover and Third Party

Psychological treatment for work-related injury or motor vehicle accident will be billed directly to the insurance company once approval has been obtained. A referral from your doctor is required.

Cancellation Policy

 A 24-hours cancellation policy applies to provide enough time for the appointment to be filled by others who require assistance. A full fee will be charged if less that 24-hours notice is given or appointments are missed without notice.
